I am SO SO excited to be back, finally. So just to fill y'all in, two weekends ago I went to New Orleans Jazzfest for the first time ever with my New Orleans-native friend, Carly.
It was such a fun and great experience, and massive sunburns on each side of my shoulders was a small price to pay. Oh, and aching legs and feet because Jazzfest is really an all-day event.
Although it was the weekend before finals (procrastination much?) it was really worth it to go (especially because I wound up not failing the class I had an exam on that next Monday). I would recommend going to NOLA Jazzfest at least once in your lifetime, and also the crawfish beignets.
This is my great friend (and sorority sister!) Carly, whose family was kind enough to let me stay with them for the weekend. I was also completely obsessed with what she wore to Jazzfest. We actually bought our sundresses and necklaces at the same time and she helped me pick out my dress!
